Service Call

A service call is a full diagnostic visit to check the health, safety, and performance of your garage door system. Residential service calls are $60 in most cases, and $85 for commercial properties.

During a service call, the technician performs a complete system check and assessment, looking at springs, cables, rollers, hinges, tracks, opener function, and overall alignment. Minor adjustments are included, such as spring tensioning, lubrication of moving components, and other small corrections that do not require new parts.

A service call is ideal when the door is noisy, uneven, sticking, slow, or showing signs of wear, and you want to know what’s going on before problems become repairs.

System Tune-Up

A system tune-up is different from a service call. A tune-up focuses on improving the operation, efficiency, and longevity of a door that is already working, but may benefit from upgraded components and smoother performance.

A standard tune-up typically includes replacing or upgrading rollers, bearings, and other small moving parts, as well as a full system assessment to identify wear before it becomes a bigger issue. The price of the service call is included in the tune-up.
